ASO Mission

The Anthropological Services Ontario (ASO) was founded to contribute to the understanding of history.

We believe that "understanding" is a concept that goes deeper than mere description, enumeration and measurement. The stories that can be unlocked through material evidence become apparent when we consider the processes in which they were created, used or discarded.

After all memory is lost we still share human form and human experience.
