Singhampton Pioneer Graves

In 2001 the owner of a late 19th century farmhouse in Singhampton, Ontario discovered what appeared to be two unmarked grave slabs while digging a trench.

ASO was commissioned to assess, excavate and secure the site. The slabs were determined to be of concrete, with coarse aggregate of local river pebbles. No human remains were found, but the undersides of each plate showed the vague imprints of an adult human shape.
